A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN CLEMENTE, CALIFORNIA, AWARDING A PROFESSIONAL SERVICES AGREEMENT TO SUMMERS, MURPHY & PARTNERS, INC. FOR DESIGN SERVICES FOR THE SAN CLEMENTE PIER ENTRANCE DESIGN PROJECT WHEREAS, the City of San Clemente initiated a Request for Proposals (RFP) process to procure professional design services for the San Clemente Pier Entrance Design Project, which seeks to enhance safety, aesthetics, and circulation at the Pier entrance in preparation for the City’s Centennial Celebration in 2028; and WHEREAS, the City received four (4) proposals in response to the RFP, which were evaluated by a selection committee based on criteria including design vision, relevant experience, methodology, cost, community engagement, proposal quality, and references; and WHEREAS, after thorough evaluation and scoring of the proposals received, Summers, Murphy & Partners, Inc.
