RESOLUTION NO. 25-174
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN CLEMENTE, CALIFORNIA, CERTIFYING THAT THE CITY OF SAN CLEMENTE HAS THE RESOURCES TO FUND CITY PROJECTS IN THE FEDERAL FISCAL YEAR 2026/2027 - 2031/2032 TRANSPORTATION IMPROVEMENT PROGRAM AND AFFIRMING THE CITY’S COMMITMENT TO IMPLEMENT ALL PROJECTS IN THE PROGRAM WHEREAS, the City of San Clemente (City) is located within the metropolitan planning boundaries of the Southern California Association of Governments; and WHEREAS, the San Clemente City Council has previously authorized project submittals to the Federal Transportation Improvement Program (FTIP); and WHEREAS, the City is the lead agency for projects that it has submitted to the FTIP and will comply with applicable local, state, and federal provisions including but not limited to the Federal Transportation Improvement Program, California Environmental Quality Act, National Environmental Policy Act, Americans with Disabilities Act, and Build America Buy America; and WHEREAS, the City agrees to construct Transportation Control Measures projects as noted in the amendments in a timely manner or to assist with funding a substitute project as applicable.
NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of San Clemente does hereby resolve as follows:
SECTION 1. The City of San Clemente affirms its commitment to the projects that the City submitted in the 2027 Federal Transportation Improvement Program.
SECTION 2. The City Clerk shall certify to the passage and adoption of this resolution and enter it into the book of original resolutions.
