GOLF COURSE COMMITTEE MEETING
CALIFORNIA MONDAY, SEPTEMBER 22, 2025, 3:00 P.M.
A special meeting of the Golf Course Committee of the City of San Clemente was called to order by Chair Divel on Monday, September 22, 2025, at 3:00 p.m. at the City Hall Council Chambers, located at 910 Calle Negocio, San Clemente, CA. Committee Member Ela led the Pledge of Allegiance.
PRESENT: Grady Ela, Rick Divel, Mandy Hamilton, Ben Page, Robert Zumberge STAFF PRESENT: Samantha Wylie, Beaches, Parks and Recreation Director Debbie Fields, Administrative Assistant
NEW BUSINESS
A. Consideration of Approving Amended Fees For Play Upon at the San Clemente Municipal Golf Course
Director of Beaches, Parks & Recreation Samantha Wylie presented proposed increases to the greens fees and membership card rates. alforda longobard a San Clemente resident, expressed his opposition, citing Chris Ahola, a San Clemente resident, expressed his opposition to the proposed golf rate increase.
Vivian Crorepose Dee irit resident questioned the rising line-tem expenditures Committee Members discussed changing Friday rates from weekday to weekend rates.
• Motion by Committee Member Page, seconded by Vice Chair Hamilton, CARRIED 5- O, to retain Friday as a weekday rate for residents and apply weekend rates for non- residents

Motion by Committee member Zumberge, seconded by Committee Member Page, CARRIED 5-0, to accept the green fees outlined in the resolution and forward them to the City Council for approval.
