RESOLUTION NO. 25-193
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN CLEMENTE, CALIFORNIA, UPDATING POLICY AND PROCEDURE 203-2 REGARDING ENVIRONMENTAL SUSTAINABILITY GRANT FUNDING WHEREAS, on September 1, 2009, the City Council approved Policy and Procedure 203-2 (the Policy) pertaining to Environmental Sustainability Grant funding for small community-led projects; and WHEREAS, an updated Policy was approved by City Council on April 2, 2013 to allow for recurring environmental projects – in addition to one-time projects – to be eligible for funding; and WHEREAS, there is a need to further streamline the Policy by consolidating the two funding cycles per year into one, and update staff titles and the Environmental Sustainability Grant program’s advisory committee to the Beaches, Parks and Recreation Commission.
NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of San Clemente does hereby find, determine and resolve as follows:
SECTION 1. That the above recitations are true and correct and hereby incorporated fully herein.
SECTION 2. That the City Council approves the updated Policy and Procedure 203-2 regarding Environmental Sustainability Grant Funding in the form presented to the City Council on December 9, 2025, which shall replace the 2013 iteration of Policy and Procedure 203-2.
SECTION 3. The City Clerk shall certify to the passage and adoption of this resolution and enter it into the book of original resolutions.
