Dear Ms. Temory,
We’re writing to inform you of some exciting changes coming to Cabco Yellow, Inc. Recent developments in California law have required us to revise our business structure. As such, effective June 1, 2025, Cabco Yellow Inc., dba California Yellow Cab will be closing to make way for Orange County Yellow Cooperative, Inc (OCYC). OCYC is Orange County’s first and only Taxicab Cooperative, proudly owned entirely by drivers.
While Cabco Yellow is closing its doors, the new Co-Op has agreed to retain us as management under the banner of OCY Management, LLC. This will ensure seamless continuity of service in the days, months and years ahead.
Our staff, call center, and main office location will remain the same. In the upcoming days Melissa Gomez, Program Manager, will share company details such as a new W9, updated certificates of insurance, and whatever else is necessary to ensure our partnership continues and there is no contract interruption. We should commence the contract assignment process at this time. During the pendency of the assignment, Cabco Yellow can continue to service the contract while subcontracting its services to OCY Management, LLC.
For accounting purposes, please remit all future payment to OCY Management, LLC effective June 1, 2025.
