RESOLUTION NO. 26-120
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN CLEMENTE, CALIFORNIA, AWARDING BID IT-25 FOR THE PURCHASE OF THE ARCTICWOLF SYSTEM TO SAVANT SOLUTIONS, INC. AND AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO ENTER INTO AN AGREEMENT IN AN AMOUNT NOT TO EXCEED $81,682.12 FOR A ONE-YEAR TERM WHEREAS, the City wishes to protect the City’s data and technology assets in the event of cyberattack and utilizing the Arctic Wolf Networks Managed Detection and Response and Managed Risk Services (ArcticWolf) is the best way to do that; and WHEREAS, the City has conducted competitive bidding for the purchase of ArcticWolf; and WHEREAS, on May 28, 2026, the City received the low bid in the amount of $81,682.12 for ArcticWolf; and WHEREAS, Savant Solutions, Inc. was the lowest responsive and responsible bidder with a bid of $81,682.12.
NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of San Clemente does hereby find, determine and resolve as follows:
SECTION 1. That the above recitations are true and correct and fully incorporated herein.
SECTION 2. That Bid IT-25 for the purchase of the ArcticWolf System is hereby awarded to Savant Solutions, Inc.
SECTION 3. That the City Manager is hereby authorized and directed to execute an agreement to purchase the ArcticWolf System from Savant Solutions, Inc. under terms and conditions substantially similar to State of California Contract SLP-23-70- 0276O in an amount not to exceed $81,682.12 which includes the service, equipment, software maintenance and support, over a one-year term.
SECTION 4. That City staff is hereby authorized to accept the ArcticWolf Solutions Agreement as presented to City Council on June 16, 2026, and other license or service agreements as necessary to fulfill the intent of this resolution and implement the ArticWolf System.
SECTION 5. That the City Clerk shall certify to the passage and adoption of this resolution and enter it into the book of original resolutions PASSED AND ADOPTED this _____ day of June, 2026.
