RESOLUTION NO. 26-136
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN CLEMENTE, CALIFORNIA, APPROVING THE ARTS AND CULTURE COMMITTEE FISCAL YEAR 2026-27 WORK PLAN WHEREAS, the Arts and Culture Committee serves in an advisory capacity to support and promote arts, culture, history, and creative opportunities within the San Clemente community; and WHEREAS, the City utilizes annual work plans to establish priorities for its commissions and committees and to coordinate those priorities with available City resources and City Council direction; and WHEREAS, at its meeting of July 27, 2026, the Arts and Culture Committee reviewed and approved its proposed Fiscal Year 2026-27 Work Plan; and WHEREAS, the proposed Work Plan identifies the six priority areas; and WHEREAS, approval of the Work Plan establishes priorities for the Arts and Culture Committee but does not authorize additional expenditures, contractual commitments, or the implementation of individual projects that require separate City Council approval.
NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of San Clemente does hereby find, determine and resolve as follows:
SECTION 1. The foregoing recitals are true and correct and are fully incorporated herein by this reference.
SECTION 2. The City Council hereby approves the Arts and Culture Committee Fiscal Year 2026-27 Work Plan, attached hereto as Exhibit “A” and incorporated herein by this reference.
SECTION 3. Implementation of the Work Plan shall be subject to available staff resources, adopted City budgets, applicable City policies and procedures, and any additional City Council authorization required for individual projects or expenditures.
SECTION 4. The City Clerk shall certify to the passage and adoption of this resolution and enter it into the book of original resolutions.
