RESOLUTION NO. 26-139
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN CLEMENTE, CALIFORNIA, TO ACCEPT AND FILE A NOTICE OF COMPLETION FOR THE CONSTRUCTION CONTRACT WITH ALLIANCE DIVERSIFIED ENTERPRISES FOR THE CALLE FRONTERA SEWER LIFT STATION SOIL STABILIZATION, CIP PROJECT NO. 32201 WHEREAS, on January 20, 2026, the City Council awarded a construction contract to Alliance Diversified Enterprises, Inc. for the Calle Frontera Sewer Lift Station Soil Stabilization, CIP Project No. 32201; and WHEREAS, the work included the installation of a foundation support system consisting of caissons and grade beams to stabilize the existing building, minimize future structural movement, and prevent deterioration and cracking of the wet well structure; and WHEREAS, Alliance Diversified Enterprises, Inc. has completed the work to the satisfaction of the Public Works Director/City Engineer.
NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of San Clemente does hereby resolve as follows:
SECTION 1. That the above recitations are true and correct and incorporated fully herein.
SECTION 2. That the City Council accepts as complete the Calle Frontera Sewer Lift Station Soil Stabilization, CIP Project No. 32201 from Alliance Diversified Enterprises, Inc.
SECTION 3. That the City Council authorizes the City Clerk to execute and record a Notice of Completion for the Calle Frontera Sewer Lift Station Soil Stabilization, CIP Project No. 32201.
SECTION 4. That the City Council authorizes the City Clerk to release the payment bond for this project 35 days from the recordation of the Notice of Completion upon verification with the Engineering Division that no liens have been levied against Alliance Diversified Enterprises, Inc.
SECTION 5. That the City Council authorizes the City Clerk to release the performance bond for this project upon receipt of a warranty bond in a form acceptable to the Public Works Director/City Engineer in the amount of 25% of the total construction cost.
SECTION 6. The City Clerk shall certify to the passage and adoption of this resolution and enter it into the book of original resolutions.
