RESOLUTION NO. 26-150
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN CLEMENTE, CALIFORNIA, TO ACCEPT AND FILE A NOTICE OF COMPLETION FOR THE CONSTRUCTION CONTRACT WITH Q&E PIPELINE COMPANY FOR THE CAMINO VERA CRUZ RECYCLED WATER LINE EXTENSION, CIP PROJECT NO. 17407 WHEREAS, on November 4, 2025, the City Council awarded a construction contract to Q&E Pipeline Company for the Camino Vera Cruz Recycled Water Line Extension, CIP Project No. 17407; and WHEREAS, the work included the installation of approximately 402 linear feet of pipeline and three irrigation meters to provide additional recycled water within the Forster Ranch Home Owners Association’s (HOA) areas; and WHEREAS, Q&E Pipeline Company has completed the work to the satisfaction of the Public Works Director/City Engineer.
NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of San Clemente does hereby resolve as follows:
SECTION 1. That the above recitations are true and correct and incorporated fully herein.
SECTION 2. That the City Council accepts as complete the Camino Vera Cruz Recycled Water Line Extension, CIP Project No. 17407 from Q&E Pipeline Company.
SECTION 3. That the City Council authorizes the City Clerk to execute and record a Notice of Completion for Camino Vera Cruz Recycled Water Line Extension, CIP Project No. 17407.
SECTION 4. That the City Council authorizes the City Clerk to release the payment bond for this project 35 days from the recordation of the Notice of Completion upon verification with the Engineering Division that no liens have been levied against Q&E Pipeline Company.
SECTION 5. That the City Council authorizes the City Clerk to release the performance bond for this project upon receipt of a warranty bond in a form acceptable to the Public Works Director/City Engineer in the amount of 25% of the total construction cost.
SECTION 6. The City Clerk shall certify to the passage and adoption of this resolution and enter it into the book of original resolutions.
