SUBJECT: Special City Council Meeting & Adjournment of Regular meeting In order to manage the City Council meeting and for the week of September 19th, the regularly scheduled City Council Meeting on Monday, September 19, 2022 at 2:00 p.m. will be adjourned. The City Council will convene for a Special Meeting on Monday, September 19, 2022 at 12:00 p.m. for the following items:
• United States Interagency Council on Homelessness (USICH) Recommendations on Policies, Best Practices, and Maintaining and Maximizing Federal Funding • Regional Task Force on Homelessness Continuum of Care Advisory Board Ad Hoc Committee on Addressing Homelessness Among Black San Diegans Updates • San Diego Homeless Experienced Advocacy and Leadership (HEAL) Network: Perspective on Homelessness & Solutions
• Community Action Plan on Homelessness Update
• Homelessness Strategies and Solutions Department Fiscal Year Updates • Approval to Accept Round 1 of State of California Family Homelessness Challenge Grant Funds
• Non-Agenda Public Comment
This will provide the City Council with additional time to complete the docketed City business.
