The regularly scheduled City Council Meeting on Monday, April 24, 2023 at 2:00 p.m. will be adjourned, and the City Council will convene for a Special Meeting on Monday, April 24, 2023 at 12:00 p.m. The following items will be on the Special agenda:
Presentation of the Mayor’s Fiscal Year 2024 Proposed Budget. Horton House – Approval of Real Property Purchase and Sale Agreement and Joint Escrow Instructions, Declaration of Property as Exempt Surplus Land in accordance with California Government Code sections 54220-54234, and Waiver of Requirement in Council Policy 700-10– 333 G Street (APN 535-096-16) Marina Neighborhood of the Downtown Community Plan Area (PUBLIC HEARING). FY 2024 Annual Action Plan for HUD Programs, FY 2024 Annual HUD Programs Allocations, and associated actions.
Authorize the execution of the cooperative agreement between Caltrans and the City of San Diego for construction of high-occupancy vehicle lanes in the eastbound and westbound direction on State Route 56 between El Camino Real to Gonzales Creek bridge.
Declare Certain Parcels of City-Owned Real Property Located in the Civic Core of Downtown San Diego as “Surplus Land” Pursuant to California Government Code Sections 54220-54234 and Related Actions. Concur with the Mayor’s Direction to Expeditiously Explore Development of the Homelessness Response Center and the Former Central Library for Affordable Housing Uses or Homeless Shelter Uses, or Both. Ten Year Agreement for Animal Services with San Diego Humane Society. 10-Year Public Service Lease with the San Diego Humane Society for City-Owned real Property Consisting of an Approximately 38,000 Square-Foot Building with Surface Parking Located at 5480 Gaines Street, San Diego, CA 92110.
