Mayor, Council, City Attorney, Independent Budget Analyst, City Clerk Comment:

CC-1: Council President LaCava addressed why a waiver wasn’t accepted for hang gliding at Torrey Pines. He stated that the claim is that the County of LA developed this waiver based on Dockweiler Beach, which is seen as a safe location for beginners with soft sand, gentle slopes, and a low bluff of 25 feet compared to Torrey Pines 300-foot vertical bluff which is much different. Council President LaCava acknowledged that's why we rejected the proposal for a waiver.

Report Out from Closed Session:

None.

Council President LaCava adjourned the meeting at 4:43 p.m.
