CC-1: Council President LaCava thanked Council President Pro Tem Lee for taking over yesterday’s session. He mentioned he joined a number of service providers in Sacramento yesterday to lobby both Assembly Members and State Senators for the continuation of the halfbudget, at least at the dollar amount in last year’s budget, if not more. Council President LaCava recognized there’s incredible work being done in the homeless space. He acknowledged we’ve created a strong foundation in terms of the action that the Mayor’s brought forward and that the Council has supported. Council President LaCava expressed that we need regular funding every single year.

Report Out from Closed Session:

None.

Council President LaCava adjourned the meeting at 4:34 p.m. in honor of the memory of:

Alwin “Ben” Holman as requested by Councilmember Foster; and Alex Libby as requested by Councilmember von Wilpert.
