Discussion, Consideration, and Possible Direction Revising Policies and Procedures Related to Enforcement of Chapter 13.36 of the San Dimas Municipal Code regarding Community Tree Management RECOMMENDATION:
Staff recommends the City Council:Discuss the City’s approach related to implementation of Chapter 13.36 to reflect a balanced approach to enforcement.Direct staff to conduct community outreach to:Educate residents on their responsibilities with respect to the maintenance of City trees on residents’ property,Educate residents regarding the different types of violations of Chapter 13.36, andProvide an annual grid trimming schedule to residents.
