Debbie Kilgore, resident, commented on illegally-placed election signs.

Dave Barela of JD Associates, on behalf of a number of tenants of the Universal Shopping Plaza (Focus Plaza) at 140 W. Valley Boulevard, spoke about the Plaza landlord's remodeling plan that does not include a timeline, and on alleged intimidation of the tenants to not renew their leases, or to face up to a 150% increase in rent.

The following tenants of the Focus Plaza also shared their negative experiences with the landlord's management staff in regard to lack of notice, and about their potential losses from investment in their stores if their lease is not renewed or if rent is raised dramatically: Simon Lee; Bin Hong; Xiang Min; Elaine Hsu; Vivian Liu; Dennis Leung; Yixuan Ou; Scott Huang; son of Jessica Chen; Yah Na Liu; and Joyen Shin.
