SPECIAL MEETING OF THE SAN GABRIEL CITY COUNCIL
CALL TO ORDER
Mayor Wu called the special meeting of the San Gabriel City Council to order at 5:32 P.M. on Tuesday, April 10, 2024, in the Council Chamber at City Hall, 425 South Mission Drive, San Gabriel, California, 91776.

2. INTERVIEWS AND APPOINTMENTS TO THE CIVIL SERVICE, COMMUNITY
SERVICES, DESIGN REVIEW, HISTORIC PRESERVATION AND CULTURAL
RESOURCE, AND PLANNING COMMISSIONS
Assistant City Clerk Bonus announced that interviews would be conducted only for those commissions that had more applicants than seats available.
In response to a question from Vice Mayor Menchaca, Assistant City Attorney Koczanowicz explained that while there is no written policy precluding commissioners from serving on more than one commission concurrently, historical precedent and a statement on the City's website seem to indicate it has been the preference of the City Council.
