This agenda item describes the parameters that guide an ad hoc subcommittee, considers the appointment of two City Councilmembers to a new ad hoc subcommittee, and proposes the focus of the new Ad Hoc Subcommittee. In addition to the recommended actions, the City Council has the following options:
1. Decide to create a standing subcommittee instead of an ad hoc subcommittee and appoint two members to review all future items related to the City’s LGBTQ+ community.
