SPECIAL MEETING OF THE SAN GABRIEL CITY COUNCIL
CALL TO ORDER
Mayor Menchaca called the special meeting of the San Gabriel City Council to order at 5:36 P.M. on Thursday, May 8, 2025, in the Council Chamber at City Hall, 425 South Mission Drive, San Gabriel, California, 91776.

Assistant Adam Yang.
A written comment was received from Chasity Jennings-Nunez in support of reappointing incumbents and the appointment of new applicants to the Commission.

The City Council appointed four applicants to the Commission: the applicant that received the fewest votes from the four appointments made was appointed to a oneyear term, the remaining three were appointed to two-year terms.
Community Services Commission One-Year Term (1 Position) A motion was made by Council Member Wu, seconded by Council Member Ding, to appoint Mary Huang for a one-year term from May 8, 2025, through May 31 , 2026.
Motion carried by a vote of 5-0 as follows:

Community Services Commission Two-Year Term (3 Position) A motion was made by Council Member Wu, seconded by Council Member Herrera Avila, to appoint Nancy Duong, Davis Barrantes, and Cheryl Cabot to two-year terms from June 1, 2025, through May 31, 2027.
Motion carried by a vote of 5-0 as follows:
