SUBJECT: Mayor's Local Appointments List
RECOMMENDATION:
Staff recommends that the City Council review the Mayor’s Local Appointments List and accept the Mayor’s recommendations for appointments for the calendar year 2025.
DISCUSSION:
Typically, following the City Council reorganization, the Mayor appoints members of the City Council as representatives to other agencies and any City Council Committee. The Mayor usually gathers input from the council members concerning committee assignments in which each has an interest. The Mayor has the ultimate decision to appoint council members to the committee that he/she determines serves the City's best interest, which is then ratified by the City Council.
FISCAL IMPACT:
There is no fiscal impact.
