SUBJECT: Treasurer’s Report at October 31, 2025
RECOMMENDATION:
Staff recommends that the City Council receive and file the Treasurer’s Report for the month ending October 31, 2025.
BACKGROUND:
The Treasurer’s Report is required to be presented to the governing body at least quarterly in accordance with California Government Code Section 53600 et. seq.
DISCUSSION:
Total Cash and City Investments decreased 1.89% during the month. This includes cash, cash in bank and cash with trustee.
The attached Treasurer’s report is a “snapshot” report of our cash position on the last day of the month in all of our accounts. A section demonstrating compliance with the adopted Investment Policy and a chart depicting historical interest rates for certain positions is also included.
Detailed statements of investments from Chandler Asset Management and Public Trust Advisors have also been included.
