At its meeting of March 10, 2022, the Treatment Plant Advisory Committee (TPAC) reviewed this item concerning Report on Bids and Construction Contract for — 8748 Storm Drain System Improvement Project Rebid at the San José — Santa Clara Regional Wastewater Facility on the San José City Council agenda for March 22, 2022:
5.C. Report on Bids and Construction Contract for — 8748 Storm Drain System Improvement Project Rebid at the San José — Santa Clara Regional Wastewater Facility Staff Recommendation:
Report on bids and award of construction contract to the low bidder, Ranger Pipelines, Inc., in the amount of $ 6,333,000 for the 8748 - Storm Drain System Improvement Project Rebid and approve a 20 percent construction contingency in the amount of $1,266,600.
On a motion made by Committee Member Kwok and a second by Committee Member Montano, TPAC recommended approval of item 5. C.
