A RESOLUTION OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN
JOSE CONFIRMING THE APPROVAL OF THE ANNUAL
REPORT FOR FISCAL YEAR 2022 -2023 OF THE
DIRECTOR OF FINANCE ON RESIDENTIAL SOLID
WASTE COLLECTION SERVICE CHARGES, AND
CONFIRMING THE APPROVAL OF THE PLACEMENT OF
CHARGES AS SET FORTH THEREIN ON THE 2022 -2023
SANTA CLARA SECURED PROPERTY TAX ROLL
WHEREAS, pursuant to San José Municipal Code Sections 9.10.1202 and the adoption of Resolution No. 80584 by the City Council of the City of San José (“City”), the City Clerk set the public hearing on the Annual Report for Fiscal Year 2022-2023 of the Director of Finance on Residential Solid Waste Collection Service Charges (“Annual Report”) for August 9, 2022, at 1:30 p.m., or as soon thereafter as the matter may be heard, via teleconference pursuant to the provisions of California Executive Order 29- 20, which suspends certain requirements of the Ralph M. Brown Act and in accordance with City of San José Resolution No.79485; and
WHEREAS, the Annual Report was filed with the City’s Clerk’s Office on July 12, 2022 in accordance with the San José Municipal Code; and
WHEREAS, the notices for the public hearing of August 9, 2022 on the Annual Report were published in accordance with the San José Municipal Code and state law; and
WHEREAS, the City desires to confirm the approval of the Annual Report and the placement of the Residential Solid Waste Collection Service Charges on the 2022-2023 Santa Clara County Secured Property Tax Roll;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN JOSE THAT:

1. Approval of the 2022-2023 Annual Residential Solid Waste Collection Service Charges Report of the Director of Finance is hereby confirmed.
2. Approval of the placement of the Residential Solid Waste Collection Service Charges as set forth in the Annual Report on the 2022-2023 Santa Clara County Secured Property Tax Roll is hereby confirmed.
