SUBJECT: COMMUNITY STABILIZATION AND OPPORTUNITY PATHWAYS
FUND COMMISSION
Staff recommends two clarifying changes to the proposed ordinance for the Community Stabilization and Opportunity Pathways Fund Commission:
(a) Revise Section 2.08.5040, Appointment process, to clarify that City Council will appoint the voting and alternate members on the Commission and the City Manager will appoint the non-voting, ex-officio members.
(b) Revise Section 2.08.5060, Special provisions, to clarify that each member that qualifies as having Local Lived Experience (including voting members and the alternate) shall be paid the sum of two hundred dollars per month if they have attended a monthly Commission meeting. The recommended change is consistent with the special provision for the Housing and Community Development Commission.
