Dear Mayor Liccardo and Council Members,
On behalf of the Santa Clara County Office of Education (SCCOE), I would like to offer my appreciation and support for the Council's proclamation of October 2022 as Bullying Prevention Month. Addressing preventable causes of mental health concerns among children and youth, like bullying, is a primary focus of the SCCOE. We are ready to partner with the City of San Jose on steps to prevent bullying and promote respect and inclusion among children and youth in our community.
