SUBJECT: SUPPLEMENTAL MEMORANDUM FOR “ACCELERATING
DIGITAL EQUITY”
RECOMMENDATION
Request that the City Manager be open to considering any connectivity technologies, including but not limited to fiber, that can sufficiently achieve the goals of at least 1 Gbps symmetrical internet speeds citywide as outlined in the original memo. The recommendation should be technology-agnostic insofar as community needs can be met at no cost to taxpayers.
