I'm originally from Watsonville where I grew up on a twenty acre horse farm. I attended Aptos High School and skipped college to get started in the music and entertainment business. I had an illustrious thirty year career where I spent in a great deal of time in Los Angeles, Nashville, and New York City. I was fortunate to have worked with some of the biggest A List artists and celebrities in the world. After retiring from the entertainment business I set my sights on real estate development and finance. I'm a licensed agent and a co-founder of Riva DCM, a Silicon Valley real estate lending fund.

I've worked closely with the Rolling Stones, Paul McCartney, Lady Gaga, Katy Perry, Sting, Bruno Mars, Aerosmith and many others to support national and international organizations like the Red Cross, Habitat for Humanity, Born this Way Foundation, Humane Society, Farm Aid, and the ALCU.

I'm new to the Willow Glen neighborhood, but my grandparents lived here for fifty years and were active and contributing residents that were well liked and respected. Through them and their memory, I feel a real kinship and connection to the area. I myself want to be a good stewart and asset to San Jose.

I am involved with the local Humane Society helping find homes for our animal friends through no kill shelters.

The arts are the heart of a city. They should be revered, respected, and protected. Community arts are the platform and launching pad for our creative community. We have to support and create opportunities for their talents. We need to widen their audiences. The arts bring not only beauty and joy, but real jobs for people in the museum, gallery, venue, food / hospitality and production workplaces.

Yes, absolutely! Arts, culture, and entertainment are the heartbeat of any vibrant city. It creates true community, connection and purpose. A respected city like San Jose should be model, a beacon, that illuminates the beautiful diversity of its people, the art that's created, and the rich culture that should be proudly shared and represented. Arts and culture were here long before the tech industry was established.

I've been involved with music, arts, and entertainment for thirty years. I have great knowledge and experience in producing both small and large scale events, concerts, fundraisers, and galas. I'm a skilled win/win contract negotiator. I am a friend to the creators.
