A RESOLUTION OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN
JOSE AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO
EXERCISE THE CITY’S OPTION TO EXTEND THE TERM
OF THE AGREEMENT WITH STANTEC CONSULTING
SERVICES FOR PROGRAM MANAGEMENT SERVICES
FOR THE SAN JOSE -SANTA CLARA REGIONAL
WASTEWATER FACILITY IMPROVEMENT PROGRAM
FOR UP TO TWO ADDITIONAL ONE-YEAR TERMS, WITH
COMPENSATION FOR EACH ADDITIONAL ONE -YEAR
TERM NOT TO EXCEED $4,000,000, DEPENDING ON
PROGRAM NEEDS AND SUBJECT TO THE
APPROPRIATION OF FUNDS
WHEREAS, the City of San José (“City”) City Council desires to adopt this resolution for the reasons set forth in the memorandum From the Director of Environmental Services, Kerrie Romanow for the December 13, 2022 City Council meeting;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN JOSE THAT:
The City Manager is hereby authorized to exercise the city’s option to extend the term of the Agreement with Stantec Consulting Services for program management services for the San Jose-Santa Clara Regional Wastewater Facility Improvement Program for up to two additional one-year terms, with compensation for each additional one-year term not to exceed $4,000,000, depending on Program needs and subject to the appropriation of funds.
