I am an active member of the Evergreen community. I have known Sukhdev S. Bainiwal for about 25years. He is an Engineer by profession and hero in his community and society. He is always available to serve with high sense of responsibility and care.
He grew up in a family of community service volunteers. His father, Jit Singh Bainiwal was one the main founders of the Sikh Gurdwara Sanjose. His uncles are very active in the community service at this time too. Community Service and volunteering is instilled in his blood. I met him doing volunteer work. He commands a very high respect in the community. He knows how to handle problems and serves people with very calm demeanor. His passion to help other shines through his selfless actions that too with utmost patience. His moral values and integrity are commendable. A stranger would call him any time of the day, he will be there. For example, weekend before last, it was raining very hard, a woman heard about his helping nature and called him that she was a single mother and was sick that her kids had no food, he not only arranged food but arranged the whole month's grocery for her to too. He arranges blankets and warm clothes for homeless people every year. He contact ed some doctors and arranged a free medical Clinic for anybody in the community who needs care and shorts and free check-up at Sikh Gurdwara San Jose. During Covid he worked tiedlessly helping sick people at the risk of his own health with medicines and providing them groceries, cleaning stuff and other basic needs. He does the same any time there is Natural Disaster.. Once a person meets him, never forget his kindness and passion to help others. You can call him any time, you will always hear back from him, does not matter how busy he is. He always finds time for multicultural events, and collaborates with other non-profit organizations and arranges differenct services for his community. He is a true hero in the Evergreen Community, District 8. .

I am an active member of the Evergreen community. I have known Sukhdev S. Bainiwal for about 22years. He is very active in the community service of Evergreen Community.
He is an active member of the Management committee of Sikh Gurdwara San Jose who is a very helpful and caring and compassionate member of our community.
He participates in many community-based programs. Right now, he is involved in a free tutoring college prep program for high school students of the Evergreen community. He also participates in a free medical clinic on Sundays at Sikh Gurdwara San Jose for checkups, shorts Covid shots for any member of the community. He is a true Sikh who is always available to help. He helped many families in Covid times, arranged medicines and provided needed help for anybody irrespective of any religion or nationality. He participates in all functions of multi-cultural events and collaborates with other non-profit organizations
He belongs to a family of Volunteers His father, Jit Singh Bainiwal was one the main founders of the Sikh Gurdwara Sanjose. So are his uncles.
They all have high moral values. Sukhdev is a family man, have 3 kids and married to a very fine lady with same ethics and love for the community.
He is a true Sikh, always available to help. He believes in Sincere Service and honest dealings and is a friendly mature fine gentleman in our Evergreen community.
