RECOMMENDATION
(c) Adopt a resolution amending the Council’s Rules for the Conduct of Its Meetings, Superseding Resolution No. 79870, to delete Smart Cities and Service Improvements Committee as a Standing Council Committee.
BACKGROUND
On January 10, 2023, the City Council approved appointments of committees and boards, which included the dissolution of the Smart Cities and Service Improvements Committee. The Smart Cities and Service Improvements Committee has fulfilled its original purpose of providing oversight and policy guidance related to technology and innovation priorities.1
CONCLUSION
It is recommended that the Council adopt the attached administrative clean-up amendment to Resolution No. 79870 to reflect the dissolution of the Smart Cities and Service Improvements Committee by Council on January 10, 2023.
