SUBJECT: City Council Appointments of Standing Committees and Boards, Commissions, and Committees and Assignments, and Amendments to Rules of Conduct Resolution
RECOMMENDATION
1. Appoint Councilmember David Cohen to represent San Jose as a Director on the Boards of the Bay Area Water Supply & Conservation Agency and the Bay Area Regional Water System Financing Authority to the four-year term that begins on July 1, 2023.
BACKGROUND
Councilmember Cohen was recently appointed to the Boards of the Bay Area Water Supply & Conservation Agency and the Bay Area Regional Water System Financing Authority on behalf of the City of San Jose, the terms of which would conclude on June 30, 2023. In order to maintain continuity and to allow Councilmember Cohen to continue serving on these Boards, appoint Councilmember to both boards for the length of the new terms (four year terms beginning in July 1, 2023)
