At its meeting of February 9, 2023, the Treatment Plant Advisory Committee (TPAC) reviewed this item concerning a Report on Bids and Award of Contract for 10228 South Bay Water Recycling Metering and Pressure Monitoring Project — Phase 1.
5. A. Report on Bids and Award of Contract for 10228 — South Bay Water Recycling Metering and Pressure Monitoring Improvements Project Phase 1.
Staff Recommendation to Committee for City Council:
Report on bids and award of construction contract for the 10228 — South Bay Water Recycling Metering and Pressure Monitoring Improvements Phase | project to the lowest responsive, responsible bidder, JMB Construction, Inc. in the amount of $2,681,000, and approve a 10 percent contingency in the amount of $268,100.
Action: On a motion made by Committee Member Kwok and a second by Committee Member Hardy, TPAC recommended approval of item 5. A.
