Recommendations:
Request for excused absences for Councilmember Davis from the following Regular Meetings due to illness:
(a) Transportation & Environment Committee on Monday, February 6, 2023; and (b) Neighborhood Services & Education Committee on Thursday, February 9, 2023.

2.x Approval of Lighting for Women’s History Month Sponsored by Council Districts 6, 9, and 1 as a City Council Sponsored Special Event to Expend City Funds and Accept Donations of Materials and Services for the Event.
(a) Approve the Tower and Rotunda lighting for Women’s History Month scheduled on March 7- 10, 2023 as a City Council sponsored Special Event and approve the expenditure of funds; and (b) Approve and accept donations from various individuals, businesses, or community groups to support the event.

(a) Councilmember Torres (Source of Funds: District 3 Council Office Budget; Travel Dates: May 1-4, 2023; Meetings: May 2, 2023 San José City Council Meeting).
