SERVICES AND EDUCATION COMMITTEE WORK PLAN
RECOMMENDATION
Approve an amendment to the January – June 2023 Neighborhood Services and Education (NSE) Committee Work Plan to drop the following item from the May 11, 2023 NSE Committee meeting:
Police Activities League (PAL) Status Report.
Purpose: Provide a status report on the Police Activities League (PAL) partnership, programs, and services.

BACKGROUND
Staff requests to drop the Police Activities League (PAL) Status Report from the May 11, 2023 NSE Committee meeting. Several contractual deliverables are due from PAL in May, concurrent with the scheduled report. In the interest of delivering a comprehensive report, staff recommends dropping the PAL status report from the January – June 2023 NSE Committee Work Plan.
Additionally, staff plans to present the PAL status report in the fall of 2023, pending the Rules and Open Government Committee approval of the August – December 2023 NSE Committee Work Plan.
