BACKGROUND

Thank you to the Mayor, Council, city staff, community members, volunteers and more who spent countless hours to make this project a reality.

Religious freedom is an American right held in the highest regard and our City Council has the opportunity to provide Buddhist residents in our city with a new place to exercise their right and practice their faith.

The Wat Khmer Kampuchea Krom Temple is a sound project which has been designed with the input received from vigorous community outreach

I will support this project and urge my colleagues to do the same.
