RESOLUTION NO.
A RESOLUTION OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN
JOSE AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER OR
DESIGNEE TO NEGOTIATE AND EXECUTE INDIVIDUAL
AGREEMENTS WITH CSG CONSULTANTS, BIGGS
CARDOSA ASSOCIATES, INC., AND QUINCY
ENGINEERING FOR ENGINEERING AND SUPPORT
SERVICES FROM THE DATE OF EXECUTION WITH AN
INITIAL ONE YEAR TERM, AND TWO ADDITIONAL ONE -
YEAR OPTIONS TO EXTEND, IN AN AMOUNT NOT TO
EXCEED $740,000 PER CONSULTANT
WHEREAS, the City of San José (“City”) City Council desires to adopt this resolution for the reasons set forth in the memorandum, dated March 28, 2023, from the Director of Transportation, John Ristow, for the April 11, 2023 City Council meeting (“Memorandum”); and
WHEREAS, the City desires to negotiate and execute individual agreements with CSG Consultants, Biggs Cardosa Associates Inc., and Quincy Engineering;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN JOSE THAT:
The City Manager or their designee is hereby authorized to negotiate and execute individual consulting service agreements with CSG Consultants, Biggs Cardosa Associates Inc., and Quincy Engineering to provide engineering and technical support services from the date of execution with an initial one-year term, and two additional one- year options to extend, for an amount not to exceed $740,000 per consultant.
