Subject: Important 4/18 City Council Vote on Agenda Item 7.2 Importance: High

~ Sent on Behalf of Lawrence E. Stone, Santa Clara County Assessor ~

Dear Mayor and City Council: I strongly support Urban Confluence Silicon Valley and the proposed study to locate the magnificent “Breeze ofInnovation” at Plaza de Cesar Chavez. The opportunity to have a spectacular world class landmark privatelyfunded and sited at San Jose’s most important city park would be a credit to civic leadership in our city. The artistic element of “Breeze of Innovation” would complement San Jose’s genuine comment to both public artand economic activity in downtown San Jose. I am confident your support of Agenda item #7.2 would be deeply appreciated by the arts community. Thank you,

Larry Stone
Assessor
