A RESOLUTION OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN
JOSE AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO
NEGOTIATE AND EXECUTE A FIRST AMENDMENT TO
THE MASTER AGREEMENT FOR CONSULTANT
SERVICES WITH CH2M HILL ENGINEERS, INC. (CPMS
CONTRACT NO. 8772), EXTENDING THE TERM FROM
JUNE 30, 2023 TO JUNE 30, 2026 FOR ENGINEERING
CONSULTING SERVICES FOR VARIOUS CITY TRAIL
PROJECTS
WHEREAS, the City of San José (“City”) City Council desires to adopt this resolution for the reasons set forth in the memorandum, dated April 25, 2023, from the Acting Director of Public Works Matt Loesch for the May 9, 2023 City Council meeting (“Memorandum”);
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN JOSE THAT:
The City Manager is hereby authorized to negotiate and execute a First Amendment to the Master A greement for consultant services with CH2M HILL Engineers, Inc. (CPMS Contract No 8772), extending the term from June 30, 2023 to June 30, 2026, for the sole purpose of allowing the consultant to continue providing engineering consulting services through completion of the Three Creeks Trail Extension (CPMS 9843) and Yerba Buena Creek Pedestrian Bridge Geotechnical Assessment (CPMS 10154).
