We are very glad to see the City support the forward momentum of this project. We support staff’s memo and all of its recommendations!
One question on the project: would it be feasible and benefit the goal of longer term affordability if the project could be guaranteed as affordable housing for 99 years (beyond the current 55 years)? Thank you to City staff, the County, and you the Council for continuing to advance the funding and building of new affordable homes in San Jose!
