A RESOLUTION OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
SAN JOSE MAINTAINING THE SCHEDULES OF STORM
SEWER SERVICE CHARGES AT THE CURRENT LEVELS
EFFECTIVE JULY 1, 2023, AND SUPERSEDING
RESOLUTION NO. 80554
WHEREAS, Part 6 of Chapter 15.16 of Title 15 of the San José Municipal Code authorizes the setting of storm sewer service charges by resolution of the City of San José (“City”) City Council (“Council”), and the collection of such charges for the purpose of deriving revenue for acquisition, repair, rehabilitation, construction, reconstruction, operation and maintenance of the storm sewer system of the City; and
WHEREAS, the Council wishes to maintain the same storm sewer service charges as in previous years;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN JOSE:
SECTION 1. Schedule of Storm Sewer Service Charges.
For all premises connected directly or indirectly to or served by the storm sewer system, storm sewer service charges are maintained at the same rate as the prior fiscal year, effective July 1, 2023, for the premises listed below:
A. Single-family residential and duplex, if connected to the system prior to July 1, 2023
Single family residential and duplex, if connected to the system on or after July 1, 2023
$94.44 per year
