A RESOLUTION OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
SAN JOSE AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER OR
DESIGNEE TO RE-ALLOCATE AND SPEND $375,000 IN
THE 2022-2023 BUDGET DESIGNATED FOR A LOCAL
GRANT MATCH APPROPRIATION FOR DIRECT TREE-
INVENTORY PROCUREMENT PURPOSES
WHEREAS, the City of San José (“City”) City Council desires to adopt this resolution for the reasons set forth in the memorandum, regarding Re-Allocation of Funding to Perform Tree Inventory Work, from the Director of Transportation, John Ristow, for the June 6, 2023 City Council meeting (“Memorandum”); and
WHEREAS, the City desires to authorize the City Manager or designee to re-allocate and spend $375,000 in the 2022-2023 Budget designated for a local grant match appropriation for direct tree-inventory procurement purposes;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN JOSE THAT:
The City Manager or their designee hereby authorized to re-allocate and spend $375,000 in the 2022-2023 Budget designated for a local grant match appropriation for direct tree-inventory procurement purposes.
