A RESOLUTION OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
SAN JOSE APPROVING FOR ADOPTION THE CAPITAL
BUDGET FOR FISCAL YEAR 2023-2024
WHEREAS, the Proposed Capital Budget for fiscal year 2023-2024 was submitted by the City Manager to the City Council on April 26, 2023; and
WHEREAS, several hearings have been conducted where members of the public have had prior notice and an opportunity to appear and be heard regarding the Proposed Capital Budget for fiscal year 2023-2024; and
WHEREAS, the City Council held a public hearing on June 12, 2023, to consider the “Proposed 2023-2024 Capital Budget,” as presented by the Mayor in his memorandum entitled “June Budget Message for Fiscal Year 2023-2024” and dated June 5, 2023;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN JOSE:
SECTION 1. Pursuant to and in accordance with applicable provisions of the Charter of the City of San José, the “2023-2024 Capital Budget” submitted by the City Manager to the City Council on April 26, 2023, as modified by the City Council on June 13, 2023, is hereby approved for adoption.
SECTION 2. The City Manager is hereby directed to file the Adopted 2023-2024 Capital Budget, as adopted by the City Council on June 13, 2023, in the Office of the City Clerk.
