RECOMMENDATION
Approve an amendment to the January – June 2023 Public Safety, Finance and Strategic Support (PSFSS) Committee Work Plan to drop the following item from the June 15, 2023 PSFSS Committee meeting:
Response to the Investigations of Police Misconduct in San José Report by Moeel, Lah, Fakhoury, LLP.
Purpose: Provide a report responding to the Investigations of Police Misconduct in San José report by Moeel, Lah, Fakhoury, LLP.

BACKGROUND
The Administration requests to drop the Response to the Investigations of Police Misconduct in San José Report by Moeel, Lah, Fakhoury, LLP from the June 15, 2023 PSFSS Committee meeting. With the announcement of the Independent Police Auditor’s (IPA) retirement, staff will propose that this item be added to a future PSFSS Committee meeting once a future IPA has been selected by the City Council.
