Purpose: Reimagining the Civic Commons (RCC) is a national collaborative network that counts San José among its member cities. RCC serves as a platform for individuals and organizations responsible for managing, funding, and advocating for parks, public areas, and civic institutions to connect, share insights, gain access to valuable resources, and foster a collective effort to enhance local communities.

To showcase the achievements of specific cities, RCC hosts various events and educational experiences known as Studios and Learning Journeys on an annual basis.

Councilmember Torres serves the residents of District Three San José and shares the Guadalupe River with the Guadalupe River Park Conservancy. It is vital that the Councilmember is equipped with the knowledge on how other civic commons are planned and created. 10/18/2023
