Action: Upon motion by Councilmember Dev Davis, seconded by Councilmember Pam Foley, and carried unanimously, the April 23, 2024 Final Agenda was approved; including the Add Sheet. (5-0-0)

Action: Upon motion by Councilmember Pam Foley, seconded by Councilmember Dev Davis, and carried unanimously, the April 30, 2024 Draft Agenda was approved. (5-0-0) B. Consent Calendar

Action: Upon motion by Councilmember Pam Foley, seconded by Councilmember Dev Davis, and carried unanimously, the Consent Calendar was approved as a whole.The below actions were taken as indicated. (5-0-0)
1. The Public Record for April 4 – April 11, 2024. (City Clerk) Receive and file the Public Record for April 4 – April 11, 2024.
Action: The Public Record for April 4 – April 11, 2024 was received and filed.
2. VEBA Advisory Committee Appointments. (Human Resources) (a) Approve the appointment of Sebastian Wisniewski, nominated by the Police Officers’ Association (POA), as the POA’s active employee member to the Voluntary Employees Beneficiary Association (VEBA) Advisory Committee for a term beginning June 1, 2024 and ending May 31, 2028.
(b) Approve the appointment of Elsa Cordova, nominated by the City Manager as the unrepresented employee member, to the VEBA Advisory Committee for a term beginning June 1, 2024 and ending May 31, 2028.
(c) Place the item on the April 23, 2024 City Council Agenda for action.
Action: The VEBA Advisory Committee Appointments were approved for placement on the April 23, 2024 City Council Agenda for action.
3. Update to the January - June 2024 Neighborhood Services and Education Committee Work Plan. (Parks, Recreation, and Neighborhood Services) Approve an amendment to the January - June 2024 Neighborhood Services and Education (NSE) Committee Work Plan to drop the following item scheduled for the May 9, 2024, NSE Committee meeting:
Blight Reduction Coordination with Santa Clara Valley Transportation Authority Status Report.
Purpose: Provide a status report on the Memorandum of Understanding with Santa Clara Valley Transportation Authority (VTA) on blight reduction coordination. (Parks, Recreation and Neighborhood Services)
Action: The update to the January - June 2024 Neighborhood Services and Education Committee Work Plan was approved.
