The Committee meeting was held in the Council Chambers. The meeting convened at 2:00 p.m.
Present Councilmembers: - Foley, Jimenez, Davis, and Kamei.
Absent Councilmembers: - Cohen

A. City Council (City Clerk)
1. Review October 1, 2024 Final Agenda
a) Add New Items to Final Agenda
b) Assign "Time Certain" to Agenda Items (if needed)
c) Review of Notice of Waiver Requirements for Agenda Items or Documents (if needed) Public Comment: None provided.
Action: Upon motion by Councilmember Sergio Jimenez, seconded by Vice Mayor Rosemary Kamei, and carried unanimously, the Committee approved the draft agenda for the City Council meeting on October 1, 2024, including the add sheet. (4-0-1; Absent: Cohen)
2. Review October 8, 2024 Draft Agenda
a) Add New Items to Draft Agenda
b) Assign "Time Certain" to Agenda Items (if needed)
c) Review of Notice of Waiver Requirements for Agenda Items or Documents (if needed) Public Comment: None provided.
Action: Upon motion by Vice Mayor Rosemary Kamei, seconded by Councilmember Dev Davis, and carried unanimously, the Committee approved the draft agenda for the City Council meeting on October 8, 2024, including the evening session. (4-0-1; Absent: Cohen) -2-
B. Consent Calendar

Action: Upon motion by Councilmember Dev Davis, seconded by Vice Mayor Rosemary Kamei, and carried unanimously, the Consent Calendar was approved as a whole. The below actions were taken as indicated. (4-0-1; Absent: Cohen)
1. The Public Record for September 12 – September 19, 2024 (City Clerk) The Public Record for September 12 – September 19, 2024, was noted and filed.
2. 2024-2025/2025-2026 City Budget Calendar and Budget Study Session Schedule. (City Manager)
The proposed 2024-2025/2025-2026 City Budget Calendar was approved.
3. City AI Initiatives and GovAI Coalition Summit Study Session. (Information Technology) A City Council Study Session entitled City AI Initiatives and GovAI Coalition Summit for Friday, October 25, 2024 from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. was approved.
4. Retroactive Approval and Approval of Multiple Special Events Sponsored by Council District 10 as City Council Sponsored Special Events to Expend City Funds and Accept Donations of Materials and Services for the Events. (Batra)
The Special Events sponsored by Council District 10 were approved, to be placed on the October 1, 2024, Council Agenda for action.
