Dear City Councils and City Management :
My name is Sophie Yan Song, I am writing to introduce you a company who saved the home in LA fires:
Frontline Wildfire Defense System: Protect Your Home from Wildfires. this will be powerful prevention tools. I suggest that the City to fund prevention get help from them and set up rooftop sprinklers systems for mountain homes.
At the same time, it will be so much easier to prevent Fire than putting it off.
1. I am told that Cal Fire should cut down trees and clean the mountains, but since they didn't do that, what action will the City of San Jose take to all these weeds, vegetation and dead woods?
2. Is there adequate funding to the Fire Department to prevent wildfires or arson according to the Chief of Fire Department of San Jose?
3. If emergencies like LA happens, will fire hydrants have adequate water?
4. If water ever becomes a problem, what will be the alternative way to put off fire?
5. If today there are four fires started at the same time with strong winds, will PG&E shut down power? What will firefighters do in that case? Do they have generators and pumps to do their job? I know your time is precious, and I am not asking for a response from you, I am just a resident who wanted to remind you that in such a dense population area, we need all the preparation and should have zero expectations.
Last but not the least importantly, what is the communication between the Chief of the Water department and Fire Department?
I trust that our chief offices will take actions and prevent fires from happening, will invest in prevention measures and get human resources and tools such as power and pumps and water supplies. https://outlook.office365.com/mail/[email protected]/inbox/id/AAQkADhh Yzk3NTk1 L TBmZDAtNDc4Yi1 hN2Q0LTZjNmZjNTk5MT... 1 /2 Public Record: 1
1/14/25, 9:32 AM Mail - Rules and Open Government Committee Agendas - Outlook I urge you not to let firefighters find no water, no tools, and leave them to use handbags to put off fires because their chief expected water to be there in the hydrant.
Please utilize community volunteers as much as possible, we are here to help you.
Thank you!
Best Regards,
Yan Song CPA (Sophie)

And that goes for all the tents along Great Oaks and Endicott. That’s a mess, and those people are already setting fires to keep warm.
That a busy shopping area. Last week trash was piled in the street.
These people cleared out today are probably trying to go to that area, but its already a mess.
It should not take years to fix this problem. Pure laziness and not doing your jobs.
We live in a civilized country but its hard to tell in certain areas like ours. These are million dollar homes, with homeless everywhere. Sleeping in bushes, up against businesses at night. On main streets. In bus stops.
Vandalizing, stealing whatever they can find. They are now sleeping in the local park, roaming in our neighborhoods.
Why are they all here in Dist. 2 and 10?
Why did the other cities not take part in this?
We are being dumped on.
How is this going to get fixed? We all need answers?

Subject: ENCAMPMENT ON GREAT OAKS
Below are pictures taken today behind the church on Great Oaks. 95119 Nothing has changed maybe worse. More fence has been broken down and the church is still feeding them.
I was asured months ago by The mayor himself at a local meeting and by Garrett that it would take 90 days to get this cleaned up, and that would happen By the end of December.
We have two weeks left. Any progress, NO.
What is happening?
This area is so bad. And its deep inside.
These homeless are roaming all thru our businesses and shopping centers all day and night. They need to be placed somewhere else.
Maybe in your neightborhood……
So whats the plan now????
I’ve seen nothing happen in 3 months. Who pays for all the broken fencing, our tax dollars? Thats not right either.
How do we get action on this now?
