Consent Calendar in response to Letter written by Sebra townley Agenda Item 29 Consent Calendar Tules and open Government Our city neesa a foundation with policies that uphold dignity, equity, and constitutional rights. The routine displacement of unhoused individuals, often without due process or adequate alternatives, is a violation of basic human rights. Allowing the drug crisis to spiral unchecked and then punishing individuals only when irreversible harm has occurred is a failure of governance. Public trust is not lost in a single act but through a pattern of neglect and injustice. We cannot fire an entire system, but we can demand its transformation. If local leadership continues to ignore the realities of this crisis, the people will demand a government that does not.
