To the honorable mayor Matt Mahan, and members of the city council.
It is with anxiety and deeply concerned that I write to all of you today.
I have been following the path of destruction being created by the Trump administrators. More specifically, the Musk hackers getting access to all of America’s citizen’s personal data. I ask you you pass a resolution and authorize the appropriate departments to create a backup database making it easier to verify people’s identity and status once Musk is either arrested or, or Trump is removed from office.
I fear Trump’s ultimate goal is to create enough chaos so he can declare Martial Law. Nothing else makes sense. Especially when Trump violated the Budapest Memorandum treaty to defend Ukraine and instead is supporting the aggressor Russia. He imposed tariffs every economist warned are bad, he’s tanking our economy, removing highly skilled federal employees from critical positions, inspecting our gold reserves in Fort Knox, talking about annexing Canada,… If we get through this as a country, there’s going to be a lot of rebuilding to do with government records.
I’m sure there’s some other things you can think of. Like many of your constituents, I feel helpless and very concerned. I wanted to at least reach out to all of you.
