Dear Mayor and City Council,

At this week's meeting you will be briefed on the future of the Stevens Creek Corridor, and I urge you to support the “Recommended Plan,” which was unanimously approved by the Stevens Creek Steering Committee and includes major improvements for safety and sustainability, with safer street crossings, protected bike lanes, and dedicated bus lanes. These measures will help ensure Stevens Creek becomes a safer, more sustainable corridor that's easier for everyone to get around.

Our community in San Jose, as well as our friends and neighbors across the county, are relying on your support. I urge you to prioritize our community’s safety and sustainability. --
Sincerely,
Seth Barberee

You don't often get email from . Learn why this is important Dear Mayor and City Council Members Salas, Mulcahy, and Kamei,

Please support the Recommended Plan for the Stevens Creek Corridor!

I live in District 3 (Backesto Park) and my partner depends daily on a commute via the VTA 523 and 23 bus lines to her job as a teacher at Cupertino High School. She is a brilliant teacher and loving mother, and she does not drive a car - her bus commute is an hour or more each way. My in-laws are 80 years old and live one block from Stevens Creek Boulevard. They aren't likely to be driving much longer. I have two small children who proudly carry their Clipper Cards and guard them like the gold they are.

These kids do not deserve to be the next victims of our city's epidemic of traffic violence. I want them to be able to visit and help their grandparents along the crucial corridor of Stevens Creek Boulevard that begins as San Carlos in District 3 and runs through all of your districts as one of the backbones of Santa Clara Valley.

4/22/25, 9:01 AM Mail - Agendadesk - Outlook

Please support any and all efforts to increase dedicated transit infrastructure, biking infrastructure, and walking space on Stevens Creek Boulevard. This is "the road that light rail forgot" and it needs its due. The streetcars should never have been removed and it's the duty of our generation to return dedicated transit to this pulsing vein of our city.

Thank you deeply for reading and for your dedicated service to our city - I understand that your work is thankless and typically underpaid, and I appreciate you,

Nick Laskowski
