A RESOLUTION OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN
JOSE CONFIRMING THE APPROVAL OF THE ANNUAL
REPORT FOR FISCAL YEAR 2025-2026 FROM THE
DIRECTOR OF FINANCE ON RESIDENTIAL SOLID
WASTE COLLECTION SERVICE CHARGES, AND
CONFIRMING THE APPROVAL OF THE PLACEMENT OF
CHARGES AS SET FORTH THEREIN ON THE 2025-2026
SANTA CLARA COUNTY SECURED PROPERTY TAX
ROLL
WHEREAS, pursuant to San José Municipal Code Section 9.10.1202 and the adoption of Resolution No. RES2025-226 by the Council of the City of San José (“City”), the City Clerk set the public hearing on the Annual Report for Fiscal Year 2025-2026 from the Director of Finance on Residential Solid Waste Collection Service Charges (“Annual Report”) for August 12, 2025, at 1:30 p.m., or as soon thereafter as the matter may be heard, in the Council Chambers at City Hall, located at 200 East Santa Clara Street, San José, California; and
WHEREAS, the Annual Report was filed with the City’s Clerk’s Office on July 15, 2025 in accordance with the San José Municipal Code; and
WHEREAS, the notices for the public hearing of August 12, 2025 on the Annual Report were published in accordance with the San José Municipal Code and state law; and WHEREAS, the City desires to confirm the approval of the Annual Report and the placement of the Residential Solid Waste Collection Service Charges on the 2025-2026 Santa Clara County Secured Property Tax Roll;

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN JOSE THAT:
1. Approval of the 2025-2026 Annual Residential Solid Waste Collection Service Charges Report of the Director of Finance is hereby confirmed.
2. Approval of the placement of the Residential Solid Waste Collection Service Charges as set forth in the Annual Report on the 2025-2026 Santa Clara County Secured Property Tax Roll is hereby confirmed.
